Caffeinated Cleanup of Alva Glen
Share
Last Thursday, 2nd April, the Ochils Coffee team joined Keith (@Scottishmountaineer) and community volunteers in a "Trash Free Ochils" clean up to tackle litter in Alva Glen, making our local trails cleaner and greener.
, we came together for a day of fresh air, community spirit, and sustainability in action.
A huge shoutout to Andy & Kev from Ochils Mountain Rescue, the Ochils Trail Association, and Dan from Stirling Uni Mountaineering who helped out. With all hands on deck, we collected a surprising amount of litter - everything from plastic bottles to stray metal fencing.
The day was a perfect reminder that sustainability isn’t just about the coffee we roast, it’s also about caring for the environment around us. Thanks to the combined efforts Alva Glen’s paths and trails are now cleaner and brighter for all to enjoy.
It was inspiring to see what a small group of dedicated people can achieve. Every piece of litter picked makes a difference, and every action contributes to a greener, healthier community. Naturally, we celebrated our efforts with some well-earned coffee afterward!
A huge thank you again to those who invited us along!
